Product Description
In 2017, Certina became a proud partner of the Sea Turtle Conservancy. The Florida-based organisation, whose primary aim is to ensure the survival of the sea turtle and conserve its habitats in the Caribbean, was founded in 1959 - the same year that Certina developed the ultra-resistant DS Concept.
As a true diver's watch it fulfils all the requirements of the ISO 6425 standard - and is waterproof up to 300m. Its Powermatic movement features a power reserve of up to 80 hours and is thus ready to go if the perfect wave keeps you waiting.
Only watches that meet the exacting requirements of the ISO 6425 standard can officially be called diver's watches. With its numerous functions and safety features, this watch is the ideal companion at all kinds of sports events - and its water resistance has been tested for three hours under water.
A cleverly designed mechanism lends additional flexibility to this model's foldover clasp: Two small pushbuttons make it possible to extend the buckle by one or more millimetres - ideal for all who wear their watch over a wetsuit or would simply like a little more room around the wrist.
Power reserve is the time a fully wound mechanical watch runs until it stops - usually between 38 and 42 hours. The Powermatic 80 calibre makes a power reserve of up to 80 hours possible! So you can leave this watch for up to three days before having to set it anew - if you can do without it for that long...
