Introducing a limited edition watch created in partnership with one of the most successful Japanese Manga anime series: One Piece.
The One Piece stories are based on a pirate theme with good overcoming evil, the main character pursuing the ‘one piece’ for him to become the Pirate King.
This specific watch takes its design cues from the character Monkey D. Luffy, also known as ” Straw Hat Luffy” – main protagonist of One Piece. The captain of the Straw Hat Pirates, his lifelong dream is to become Pirate King by finding the legendary one piece of treasure which will give him the most freedom in the world.
The dial is designed with a pattern that resembles the steam that appears when Luffy unleashes gear. The scales on the bezel, which gradually increase in size in a clockwise direction, express Luffy's strength as he moves up the gears.
Next to the index at the 12 o'clock position, a mark is designed to suggest the "D".
The crown is marked with the motif of the scar under Luffy's left eye.
On the case back features the mark straw hat left to Luffy by the red-haired Shanks, Luffy‘s words "I'm gonna be… king of the pirates!" and a serial number from 0001/5000 to 5000/5000.
The case back and crown are in a gold tone color for the Europe Limited Edition's Luffy model. It is offered in a special box designed specially for the limited edition and is offered with an additional nylon band.
It is offered with a special box with the marks of each of the five characters used in this collaboration model. A download card allows you to get an original illustration created for this collaboration.
