Ametrine is a variety of quartz that features both amethyst and citrine. This unusual gemstone therefore displays both purple and yellow colours, often in striking patterns.

We would recommend cleaning ametrine with warm soapy water and a soft brush (we use an electric toothbrush), and drying with a soft cloth.
