The Seiko 5 Sports Field collection was created with a military design – taking inspiration from a vintage style originally called a 'trench watch', created to be robust and reliable in tough conditions – echoing the Seiko 5 Sports characteristics.
The khaki-coloured dial is inspired by military outerwear. It has a grainy sandblasted finish, which is paired with the Arabic numerals, and a red GMT hand.
Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance and value. "5" represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.
