This limited edition timepiece, with a run of 9,999 pieces worldwide, is within a collection to commemorate the 145th Anniversary of the beginnings of Seiko as a Tokyo clock and watch repair shop in 1881.
It features a dial colour known as 'Edo Murasaki' or 'Edo Purple' – a traditional Japanese colour that symbolises hope for the future, and the refined beauty of the Edo period in Tokyo. The gold-coloured logo accents add an additional touch of elegance.
First released in the 90s, the SKX Seiko 5 Sports watches were a modernised version of the classics – updating the reliability and durability of the 1960s originals.
